A special air quality statement has been issued for Durham Region, with smoke from wildfires causing poor air quality and reduced visibility.

The Durham District School Board (DDSB) announced today that is has reached an agreement with four bargaining units comprised of the Board’s Educational Assistants, Custodial Maintenance, Continuing Education, and Office/Clerical/Technical staffs represented by CUPE Local 218.
